Frequently Asked Questions:
How are the riding conditions?
Riding conditions are great! We ride on Lake Ivanhoe, which is a chain of three lakes, so we get our choice of the best water. The lakes are just the right size for wakeboarding, not big enough for tons or traffic or rough water, but just perfect for wakeboard passes.
What kind of boat do you use?
MB Sports sponsors the camp & the I Ride Tour. We have a 2008 Tomcat, which is 24’ with 2400 lbs. of ballast. It seats 12 people.
How much riding time will I get?
Each ride typically last 30 minutes. Most riders choose between 2-4 sets each day. You will get plenty of water time!
How many students are booked each day?
We limit our student capacity to 6 riders per day, ensuring that everyone gets plenty of personal instruction.
Are there restaurants near the lake?
Yes! There are at least five restaurants within walking distance from the boat dock. You’ll have your choice of many different kinds of food.
Is there anything else to do besides wakeboard?
Yes! We are located in DOWNTOWN Orlando! You will be very close to shopping, 4 malls, Disney attractions, Univeral Studios, Islands of Adventure, the Flow Rider, OWC, Sky Venture, International Drive, and many movie theaters. All of these locations are within 10 miles of our location.
Any nightlife?
Yes! Downtown Orlando has lots of clubs and bars. Two of our favorites are: Wall Street, and Church Street. For you late night partiers, it will only be about an $8 cab ride back to our accommodations.
